Design Director

Architect. Born in South Africa, Brett joined Mirvac Design in 2001. He has 12 years experience working in housing and urban design both in Australia and South Africa. As Design Director he is responsible for the Queensland housing design team overseeing several projects in the design and delivery of high quality residential environments.

Technical Director

Ron joined Mirvac Design in 1988 and has over 35 years experience in building services design, building compliance and sustainability in Australia and New Zealand. He is an Accredited Green Star Professional and as the Technical Director in the New South Wales office he is responsible for all building services and infrastructure design, engagement and coordination of services and sustainability consultants.

Design Director

Architect. John joined Mirvac Design in 2002 with over 25 years experience. He specialises in residential design and has more recently led the architectural design teams on Waverley Park, a master planned community comprising 1,500 dwellings. In his current role as the National Housing Manager he is responsible for overseeing all residential design projects.

Design Director

Architect. John joined Mirvac Design in 2002 and has over 25 years experience working in Australia and Japan. He has worked across most building types including educational, institutional, commercial office and residential. He is currently leading the architectural teams on Brisbane’s largest urban renewal project, Newstead Riverpark, and Bond University Mirvac School of Sustainable Development at the Gold Coast.

Design Director

Architect. Robert has been involved in a wide variety of complex projects both in Australia and overseas. He has worked as a lead architect on developments ranging from premium grade commercial office buildings to multi-storey residential apartments. Currently Robert is responsible for the New Business design team in the Sydney office assessing development opportunities for potential project sites.

Design Director

Architect. Vic joined Mirvac Design in 1988 and has over 30 years experience, specialising in residential design and planning. He is currently the Design Director for the redevelopment of the existing Newcastle hospital site adjacent to Newcastle Beach in New South Wales. The project will comprise a 146 apartment precinct and an 89 room four star Sebel Hotel.

Design Director

Architect. Andrew joined Mirvac Design in 1996. He has over 18 years experience working in the UK, China and Australia. He has worked across most building types including leisure, retail, commercial and residential. He is responsible for the management of the New Business team, which includes establishing design direction and design development of all projects in Western Australia.

Design Director

Interior Planner. Marianne joined Mirvac Design in 1998. She has over 30 years experience working in London, Middle East, New Zealand, and Australia. Marianne holds a Masters Degree in Project Management. Marianne is now responsible for overseeing the internal planning for all Queensland projects.

Technical Director

Architect. Chris joined Mirvac Design in 1999 and has over 20 years experience in building services design and building compliance. He has worked on several retail, high rise residential and commercial office buildings. As the Technical Director of the Victorian office he is responsible for the delivery of major commercial projects from inception to completion.

Project Director

Architect. Kim joined Mirvac Design in 1998 and has over 30 years experience in residential, retail and commercial projects. In previous Mirvac Design roles Kim led the architectural team on the Newington apartments and at Cabarita, a residential community development comprising 275 dwellings. Currently as the Project Director he is responsible for overseeing the delivery of all projects in the Western Australian office.

Design Director

Architect. Anthony joined Mirvac Design in 2000. He has over 25 years experience working in UK, US, Saudi Arabia, Asia and Australia. In his current role as Design Director he is responsible for all high rise residential and commercial projects in the Victorian office.

Design Director

Architect. Diana has over 14 years experience in the graphic design and architecture industries. She joined Mirvac Design in 1999 as the Manager of the Presentation & Design team. She holds a Masters Degree in Business Management and Digital Media. Diana is now responsible for marketing and communication at a national level.

Urban Design Director

Architect and certified practicing Planner, Vong joined Mirvac Design in 1984 and was appointed Director of Urban Design in 1992. He has over 35 years experience in architecture, planning and urban design. His major works include Raleigh Park NSW, Beacon Cove VIC, Newington the Olympic Village NSW and Burswood WA, among others. He is responsible for setting standards and reviewing all of Mirvac’s major urban planning and housing projects.

Architect. Ken joined Mirvac Design in 1999. He has been involved across a variety of building types both in Australia and the Middle East. Currently he is responsible for the New Business design team in Queensland and the process of assessing of development opportunities for project sites.

Design Director

Architect. Lachlan joined Mirvac Design in 2001. He has been involved across a variety of building types both in Australia and the UK. Currently Lachlan is leading the architectural teams on Tennyson Reach, a mixed use development that includes the Queensland State Tennis Stadium and Ephraim Island, a residential development comprising 400 dwellings.

Design Director

Architect. Born in the US, Michael joined Mirvac Design in 1994. He has over 20 years experience working Australia and the United States. As Design Director he has the responsibility to review the architectural output for projects in New South Wales. Michael has also led architectural teams on a number of master planned community development submissions in China, UK and Sydney.

National Retail Manager

Architect. Craig has over 25 years experience in the design and delivery of retail master planning and design. He joined Mirvac Design in 2007 as the National Manager for retail design overseeing all retail projects.

National Commercial Manager

Architect. Sven has over 18 years experience in the design and management of large scale projects, with particular expertise in commercial office design and sustainability. As well as working for internationally respected Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas, Sven spent over 15 years of his career with Foster and Partners, both in London, Frankfurt and Sydney. He joined Mirvac Design in January 2008 as the National Manager for commercial design.
